If we no show a dead head are we pay protected for it? I've been looking though the contract but can't find any info. I have a deadhead from DFW->ORD to start the trip but I was wondering if I could just call CS to noshow me and I fly straight to ORD to start from there.

You are pay protected for line guarantee it's kinda the same as a cancellation. Letter 11-03

Also you lose the retention bonus. Then going from a line holder to RSV is also a pay cut. Might not be NIL, but it's not as far off as some think.

If we commit a pilot error (a.k.a. getting an FA pregnant on a Mexico overnight) are we responsible for covering her medical costs?

I'm asking for a friend.

Brah! Did you get the upgrade yet? Let me know when you do...I have a killer tropical themed sun shade I'll hook you up with...make sure to fling that bad boy up on the windscreen during climb when the after take off checklist is complete.

Pro Tip: when you fly with a probationary FO make sure you rip apart his probationary report right before his eyes and chuck it into the trash bag. All without saying a word.

That's why E175 driver only sleeps with male FAs. He can't get them pregnant. He is a smart guy. You could learn a lot from him.

Are you? A 3 month upgrade is on year 1 140 CA pay, if he finishes CA IOE within the first year.

That's a wise tactic. I also heard that you can never forget to put the gear down if you don't ever retract it in the first place. Mind=blown.
