Honestly I have no idea what the crap is going on. And no one is telling me. Training scheduling won't answer their phones or return my calls. It is all paid, so I'm not too upset about it, but I have no idea why it's taking so long.

The amount of sim space we have barely covers all normal training events. It has zero cushion and zero margin for error. If you unsat a lesson, sim breaks etc you have to be squeezed into the close to zero extra sim time. Just a few hours per week. Add 20 of your senior colleagues going back through months and you have a giant snow ball. This has been ops normal every time hiring was running at max speed for the last 5 years. Enjoy the vacation and try not to stress.

I was on reserve three months and now hold a line - CRJ ORD. U will have 11 days off a month. Lines are anywhere from 70-85 hrs per month. It doesn't matter as you can and will pick up 200% OT as an FO.

This info is correct. My first month I flew 50 hours on reserve in my second I flew 55

You might be able to get CA VERY soon here. Like, before me. I'm Dec 2017 hire with 170 hrs 121.

just to get you that extra percentage point there... The aircraft we operate for American Eagle does not, in fact, have additional cabin jumpseats.

Default Delta jumpseat as a new hire

Does anyone know if we can jump seat on Delta in the first six months? I am on the "generic" MyIDTravel site for commuting crew members but says I am ineligible.

Thanks

Absolutely you can the myidtravel is for getting a seat for those without jumpseat privilege. You can check the ALPA site for the specifics for each carrier. Although for Delta I've always just listed at the gate and it's worked great

I tried at the gate as well. Agent said I was ineligible.
