Don't forget about OT critical coverage at 200%. 146 an hour can put a lot of coin in your pocket very quickly.

Year 1 CA 140 pay ain't 73.

Also you lose the retention bonus. Then going from a line holder to RSV is also a pay cut. Might not be NIL, but it's not as far off as some think.

Exactly,

With 15 days off as a senior FO and a little OT and the $10k bonus...

FO year 2: $40 x 76 hr line + 14 hours crit coverage = $59,920

CA year 2: $70 x 75 hr rsv guarantee = $63,000

Pay being pretty close, sacrifice 2 days off of a 15 day off line and maybe a turn at the end of a trip as OT.

In the end, the FO is making about the same with a much better QOL. Based on a Sr Line Holding FO and a RSV CA with 11 days off and everything that comes with a jr RSV.

Im not advocating either way, but just running some numbers.

Sorry, what senior FO can hold 15 days off? I didn't realize there are still 15 day off lines.

I can only speak for my status (E75), but there are plenty of them out there. Im not picky with weekends or anything, so I've been holding them the last 6 months

The sims, Maybe, all i know is that there is a backlog, I'm waiting to be rescheduled for my last two events (MV & LOE) I started April 10th and its being almost a month since I finished my sims, and in a recent email they said that they still have to reschedule a lot of people, so I have to be patient and wait.

A bunch of us are on paid vacation awaiting our MV/LOE still. Yes. There is a massive SIM backlog.
