Hey everyone, how long are those people who get based in LGA having to stay before they get to go back to DFW? Does having previous 121 experience help at all with your bid?

3-4 month tops. It will help you get the upgrade in 3 months! Flow in 5yrs.

With the closure of LAX, a two leg commute to my home in CA from DFW, being twenty from the bottom of the whole seniority list, threatening to furlough more or even shut American Eagle down, amd making less then I did in high school I determined it wasn't worth it. I ended up getting a corporate job and from there went to flying forest fires. I loved it, made a boat load of money but being gone from home for 120 days got old. I was maxed out on pay and wanted the safety and stability 121 provides so figured it was a good time to roll back in. Haven't regretted it for a second. Do mis flying 500 AGL in the mountains but c'set la vie. With the growth here I have lost almost zero seniority and managed to have a blast the past 5 years.

For all the newbies out there this business is luck and timing. The timing is extremely good right now.

Feb. 27 new hire won't hold DFW until Oct. 1st.

I wouldn't call going from $40/hr to $73/hr NIL though...
