Weird. Sounds like a lost day but in base. Definitely not normal. If it were me and I wanted to travel that day, I’d contact CS and see if they’d split the trip into different sequences. Then you should be commuter policy protected when you travel.

Because there are at least that many on the DFW 175 list that have additional flying assigned.

Yeah, that's exactly what it is. I'm going to call swaps and drops at 0900 and see if they will split it. Saves them from paying me per diem and let's me travel and get the CP if I don't make it back.

Does anyone else find it extremely annoying to be asked to write out a happy chat every single flight, or am I the only one? I'm pretty sure they can pull it up on CCI...

CCI is being added to the FA's tablet in August so from then on they won't have an excuse as to why they can't pull up a JPX themselves.

What happen if an FFDO is scheduled for an international flight? Someone said they can’t go outside the USA armed.

No, my understanding is that 7 pilots had flying added. I think it was all open flying and that nobody was displaced.

You have to take it to lock up at either DFW or ORD. I’m sure our other basss have them as well.

If you’re an FFDO then get on dashboard and find a safe location. You need to plan your trips accordingly. Sometimes you’ll have a route where you do GSO-JFK-YUL-LGA-RIC or some other city, so plan accordingly. The responsibility requires a certain amount of intelligence on your part.
