You have to lock it in a safe at the airport. The ffdo dashboard will tell you where it is. PM me for ord or dfw locations, if you can't find it. You can't take it international. Even a yyz turn could get you in serious trouble, if you get stuck there and have to clear customs. Best bet is to leave it at home for sequences going international.

How inconvenient is it updating your FFDO dashboard with your schedule, "including short notice schedule changes?" Sounds pretty inconvenient and like the biggest downside of the whole deal.

Takes about 5 - 10 minutes, depending on how many flights you're loading into it.

So if you’re a pilot that’s lives trip trading 24/7, with how many days in advance you need to let them know which flights you’ll be doing?

Remember, FA’s are not required to use CCI. Their training department will be providing them with CCI training once their tablets are updated.

Also, no where does it say you have to write the happy chat, you can brief them regarding the contents of the happy chat. Alternatively, you can still print a paper release or just print the happy chat from CCI.

Honestly, I've had to fly some flights that I did not log in on the dashboard, for various reasons. I don't think it was a big deal.

But if you're too worried about the inconvenience of finding a safe in the event of an international flight, or logging last minute flights online, then maybe the program isn't for you

Most of them say “I’ll pull it from CCI”, so if some of them can, the other ones can do it too. Is not your job. If they wanna be lazy, it’s their problem.
