Anyone know if the company will accommodate scheduling if you wanted to go through the FFDO training? It shows to be only a week long on the TSA website.
Secondly, I assume former military or LEO's would be a ripe pick applicant, but is there a plus side to already have an LTC? Thanks.

Doesn’t matter who you are or what your experience is. Same background check and training.

I’m not complaining, however I’m curious if anyone knows when this Instant CA upgrade will end? This happened at PSA a couple years back then eventually captain upgrade settled down to around a 2 to 3 year upgrade. How many new hires did we have from July 2016 to like December 2016?
Will those guys fill most of the upcoming slots as they get there hours over the next 6months?

I’m curious to see how many floating vacancy’s they have on this next bid. That should give us an idea of what then need To finish the year and get ready for next year. With enough standing vacancies, they could possibly not have a vacancy bid for a while if enough people volunteer to be CA. If no one does, then they will have to resort to frequent bids to displace people.

So I’m finishing up my commercial single and starting CFI immediately after that. I plan on interviewing to become a cadet with Envoy when the time comes.
Now, here’s my question. Would it be worth going into the cadet program at Envoy or keeping my options open?
Main thing is MIA and having the flow isn’t a bad thing either. Usually, I wouldn’t care about cadet programs, but Envoy is at the top of my list so I want to make sure to secure a spot there.
I know hiring slowed a ton for people that outside of the pipeline (cadet/RTP) so I don’t want to get left behind so to speak. I know that I still have maybe 1.5-2 years until I hit ATP minimum so a lot can change in that time.
I know RAH has MIA, but it’s almost impossible to get it especially if you plan on upgrading. No need to bring up RAH.
Thoughts?

I hate misleading "sign on" bonuses that take 3 years to come to fruition...
If you're an FO going into year 3 without upgrading you're doing something wrong, at least in today's regional environment..
Still though, at 37/hr, 39/hr, and 41/hr for year 1-3 pay respectively, that's almost identical compensation compared to Envoy.
Captain pay is identical or better. ORD base is the only one shared with Envoy, if that's a deal breaker. Not to mention the "flow" to Spirit, if its actually a flow.. and Spirit is your thing
All new hire First Officers are eligible for a $26,000 New Hire bonus, paid over year one, a $15,000 bonus paid over year two, and a $10,000 bonus paid over year three.
