Correct. Must overlap. Not be adjacent.

Is there a way to get out of blocks of reserve days using bidding? Don't care about pay.

Default When to Apply

Does anyone know when you can apply for a FO position? Do you need to wait until you reach the min or could you apply early and receive a conditional offer, assuming you are not in their pipeline program? I was unable to find such info on the website. I also tried emailing a couple of recruiters listed on the Contact page, but did not hear back from them.

Default Hipost

When picking up a P2P trip off HIPOST, is it paid at straight pay or considered OT? Couldn’t find anything related to HIPOST in the CBA. Thanks!

They have really slowed street hires atm, for whatever reason. Many theories exist as to why, but that is irrelevant atm. Are you able to or wanting to join the cadet program they offer?

Short of that, if I remember correctly, you can interview short of what you need so long as they feel you will hit the hours you need prior to being hired on. That was awhile ago though and things are changing rapidly.

Envoy isn't really hiring FO's OTS right now.

DEC's and Cadets.

Not quite sure what you're asking here but the answer is probably "not really." If you mean during monthly bidding the only way you can get out of any rsv days is if you have flying/training/vacation ect. that conflicts with them or through some sort of legality issue (eg. 7 day conflict)

As far as getting rid of an entire block after the monthly bid; it's tricky. Each day is separate so you may be able to drop/trade/PVD a few days out of the block but there's a decent chance you won't get the entire block off. If it's important to get ALL and not just some of the days off make sure you let scheduling know that when you send in the request(s). If you're trying to get days off for an important event that can't be moved my suggestion would be to try bidding around it, then try the aforementioned methods, and if that still doesn't work talk to your CPO and they may be able to help.

You can also request to drop individual reserve days by emailing swaps & drops. Obviously they can deny the request, but sometimes they'll let you do it.
