I’ve been told by captains that if you are a line holder and it’s not OSO. If you misconnect during your mid sequence and CS change your schedule they need to get positive contact from you(In range is not positive contact)
I have been trying to find in the contract but I can’t find it.

If you loose flying either by cancellation or misconnect then I'm pretty sure you have to contact CS.
OSO or not if a flight gets cancelled you are required to contact CS. I'm not sure if the same requirement stand for a misconnect.
If you have a line then there is NO requirement to call CS back if they call you. You are new and an FO. So I understand you may call them back but if they EVER ask you where the CA is or to tell the CA something The. Your response is I don't know where he is. Or it is your responsibility to notify crews of their assignment.
Essentially the ONLY time a line holder has to return a phone call is when it's OSO and your last turn is cancelled. There is a narrow window that you have to be available 4 hours or the scheduled end of the sequence which ever is first.

Envoy is slowly turning into a desk job. Anyone see the new “policy” regarding video/audio?
What’s next? Can’t converse with the suits?
My only guess is someone took a photo of a sleepy pilot in flight? Or a FA wardrobe malfunction?
Only takes one person to ruin it.

You guys are overthinking it. It’s an HR move, blasted to all employees, not just pilots. I know for some of you it’s your first job with a large corporate entity, but this is not an uncommon HR move at all, airline or not.

I answered the phone, his was on airplane. I met him on the top of the jetbridge with my things, his were still at the plane, "hey we've been reassigned."
I got to the other airplane and started getting ready. CS called me again and said since they never got ahold of the captain, they were putting us back on the original trip.

I can tell you from experience that is technically correct.

Anyone know how checked bags work for D2P or D3? What's the cost? And if they don't make the flight, the bags are gone? Would appreciate a fast response, thank you!
Also, does the same rule apply with a lap child under 2? Don't need to add them (the infant) as a standby?

I D2 recently and couldn’t get on due to “weight limited”. Asked gate agent about bags and was advised that bags “should” follow you. Needless to say bags most certainly did not follow me. I don’t think they even tried.
Lesson learned!

Appearantly no, which I don’t see the problem. No fun allowed. I find it laughable as well since our own company provided EFBs have recording devices. So, what if MOC wants a picture for a write up? Sorry man, company policy, I don’t have written permission from the suits.

A. Your buddies aren't impressed by your work selfies.
B. In my many years here I've never once come across MOC wanting a picture of anything.
