Of course this is based on the last time I had a composite line, in 2012, so things may have changed.
Composites have 11 days off. They put in rsv once your schedule is built if flying doesn’t take you to 11 off. You would be subject to time balancing in your scenario but none the less have rsv days input

Has anyone had any luck dropping flying during the ATOT?

Or is it only for 100% trading?

Never have tried to drop anything as I have always expected to hear, denied due to staffing.

Need help with a newb question:

When I have a reserve line, can I pick up open time over my reserve duty days several days in advance, or can I only proffer for OT during the 1000-1400 proffer window the day prior to a reserve day?

Trying to figure out if I can pick up stuff in open time in advance of the proffer window, so I can try to have some semblance of a set schedule and know if I will have a hotel room, since I am a commuter.

No you can only proffer the day before your RSV day in the proffer window.

As a reserve pilot and you want OT on days off, then you have to submit a full or partial RF request in the 48hr window and then any day in the new contractual month. You can do this in QuickTrade.

That’s a good question (would be pretty cool, a BYOF line), but as you said you can only proffer for flying during the day prior’s proffer window. This is because a line holder ‘could’ pick up this flying, and then the company would still have you for reserve duty rather than you flying the sequence and the reserve list being reduced by 1.

You can always pick up OT on days off for ‘add pay’ - pay on top of MMG.

For your RSV days, only proffer during the 1000-1400 window.
For off days, you can request anything I guess but you’ll only be approved for stuff where duty begins after 10am the day after a RSV day and duty ends 4pm prior to a RSV day.

The proffering between 1000-1400 is not considered OT during reserve days

You can pick up OT a week prior to the start of a new contractual month (goes by seniority)

You can also pick up OT during the month of its contractual month (first come first serve)
