Yeah this is going to kill my cool pilot instagram account. So we can’t even take pictures of an empty cockpit on the ground or views of the sky in cruise out of sterile periods?!

Line count is not nearly as important and total block hours. Make more productive lines and you net more reserves. That being said, I haven’t looked at the block hours yet.

Maybe MQ told AAG that they couldn't handle an upgauge in flying this summer due to a lack of captains. I am sure that Republic, Skywest, Mesa, and the others volunteered to pick up the slack.

I think they took some flying and just squeezed it into other lines and gave less variety in days off. At least this month the number of 15, 16 and 17day off lines is down in MIA. Lines are crappy down there next month. Hopefully will go back to normal for August. Next month is going to suck. Most all will have 13 off or less.

There was an article recently about the mainline cutting their FA lines to have more reserves this summer.

Appearantly no, which I don’t see the problem. No fun allowed. I find it laughable as well since our own company provided EFBs have recording devices. So, what if MOC wants a picture for a write up? Sorry man, company policy, I don’t have written permission from the suits.

I’ve been told by captains that if you are a line holder and it’s not OSO. If you misconnect during your mid sequence and CS change your schedule they need to get positive contact from you(In range is not positive contact)

I have been trying to find in the contract but I can’t find it.
