If someone is too thin skinned to take a little ribbing for pointing out the obvious... they probably don't belong in a cockpit.
On a similar note, I'd have made a nearly identical comment if someone had posted here telling us the number of wings on our aircraft, that we have a domicile in DFW, or any other basic general knowledge that nobody had asked for.

You do realize that a new hire is exposed to so much freaking information while in ground school that I'm sure remembering the exact steps given to them during a pizza lunch put on by the union is the most important thing on their mind during all of training. Try remembering when you were a new hire, I think you had a lot more important information you were trying to consolidate. Be more empathetic and less egotistical.
