That is the exact same thing that happened in the Canary Islands when the KLM 747 collided with the Pan Am 747.

Lol I use to think he was highly sarcastic, but now I’m baffled. Now i think he’s like one of those attention seeking kids who has been deprived of attention, then has to throw up or say something off the wall just to get everyone’s attention:

On December 1, 1993, Northwest Airlink Flight 5719 (operated by Express II) collided with trees and crashed while on approach to Chisholm-Hibbing Airport in Hibbing, Minnesota. All sixteen passengers and both pilots were killed.

An investigation revealed that the captain had a history of intimidating and hostile behavior toward first officers. The captain's actions during the flight led to a breakdown in communication between the pilots, who lost track of their altitude while attempting a night landing in poor weather.

One thing for sure is that I can understand when they tell us (me) "envoy# Rnwy# you are clear for takeoff" means.

Well, that's bad news. I'm a 24 year old 1300TT CFI in Socal and Envoy's been my #1 choice as long as I can get Dallas eventually. Dallas is a place I might consider moving to in the future but for now I was hoping to try the commute due to my current situation. I know a few guys and gals doing LAX/SNA -> ORD for Skywest and I hear the commute is long but nothing too crazy but LGA sounds like a 2 leg hell. Any guesses on how long would it take to get out of LGA to ORD or DFW? Also if anyone is crazy enough to do this commute do you have any survival tips till I can transfer? I have 3 checkride busts in the air portions if anyones wondering why Envoy over Skywest (flow is 9+ years but its insurance).

I was hired back in July 2017, I should be transfering to DFW april 1st from LGA.. dont think it will be any quicker than that for any new guys

I would consider Mesa at this point.

Honestly, you will probably have a problem getting hired by Envoy with 3 busts.

Does anyone know if they are tossing guys into upgrade who are shy of 1000 hours? I heard they were doing it around 800 and then having them FO until the fed-ride.
