Doesn't hurt to try. I know someone that got hired somewhere (not mesa) with way more busts than me and all on the same checkride. My 3 are all seperate rides for what its worth

You'd think. But Envoy actually still turns away guys with excessive checkride failures. Believe it or not, they still maintain SOME standards in hiring.

This is very true. I mean is not impossible but 3 bust is most likely a no. Still try. People make fail rides at early stages and still become great pilots. As long as you are honest and showed that you learn you might be ok. Good luck and let me know if I can be any help.

Yea my 3 busts were all in rapid succession since I went through ATP's fast program. I didn't realize what I signed up for fresh out of high school. If only I could do it all over again id take the normal path and get more practice in before a ride. It is what it is though and while I learned a lot from the experience its something that follows me and has an associated stigma that I have to overcome.

The captain running the interview presentation said 5-6 failures is a no go. Anything under that would still have a shot.

No you have to have the minimums to be awarded CA, if not you have to wait for the next bid.

You never know what will happen if you don’t try. Apply everywhere and don’t feel a bit of disappointment if Envoy tells you no. Pack up and head to the next interview. If you’re honest and you show that those were learning experiences, you’ll get a bite. A great career can still be had from your position.
