Surely you can’t be serious. I said DCE should expect NCE and OCC and you countered with “nuh uh, they’ll get NCE and OCC”

Sounds to me like you took the standing bid.

But if you were displaced (3D) and did not take the seat lock/5Hrs additional pay/month, then Yes, you can bid out NCE (LGA CA) since you were displaced and did not take the seat lock (displacement LOA), as long as you are awarded a new vacancy bid that closes “prior” to 14th days of when training is suppose to start.

Someone please cross check & verify. That’s how I read it.
That's pretty close to how I understand it and will add:

1) As far as a seat lock is concerned, proffer to displace is the same as displaced. So just because you proffered to displaced doesn't mean you're seat locked... though you still could be if you volunteered for the extra 5 hours pay per month.

2) And the seat lock has to do with equipment, not base. So if you're a seat locked NCE you should be able to vacancy bid to DCE if you want to.

Not saying those points are correct, just that it's how I understand it.

I agree, when I read his post it sounded like standing vacancy to me too, which means seat locked.

No. I said "after the july bid decs were being sent to what's left over from that bid and hanging in the standing bid"
Do you see any OCC or NCE in the October bid?

If i remember the standing bid loa language right, the last bid leftovers expire with this bid.
Which would mean no more OCC or NCE

Are they assigning double occupancy for long term upgrades? Section 5.A.3 clearly states single occupancy for DFW based individuals with a residence over 50 miles from the training center. I live in Houston and am DFW based. Do I really have to request single occupancy??
