There is actually a lot of pretty heavy material in a kilt. Quite warm, especially with the heavy wool socks. Winters in ORD have nothing on the Highlands of Scotland.

So here I am thinking trousers provided a layer of protection and a barrier to in-flight farts (IFF). Air vents could have direct access to the region thus providing instant dissipating and cooling functions simultaneously.

My “theory” is that Kilts are more effective (if one angles the gaspers properly) to combat and dissipate deadly in-flight farts (IFF). Right????

No one really knows.

Attrition from DCL due to the flow has been quite large as of late. Sandwich that with new airplanes and it may have a fairly sizable DCL vacancy. That equates to everyone and their brother that holds OCL also bailing for DCL so OCL numbers might end up being huuuggge.

Just looked and the last one came out Friday, 22 June, so could be. If not then, it will have to be soon.

Do we know when/where those extra 175's are supposed to start showing up? I seem to remember something about deliveries starting in early Q4 and continuing through the end of 2019 but I can't remember the details.

If they're going to make us wear a tie only we should really get the union to push for letting us wear underwear as well. Those cockpit seats are dirty enough as it is.

Based on the "less than ideal" levels of CRJ CA reserve staffing we're looking at for next month I would bet we see quite a few OCC vacancies as well.

Based on info from Ric Wilson’s airline update in June, it looks like roughly two a month starting Nov 2018.

As far as where, I have heard rumors of DFW, but I personally think we will see some of them on a 1 for 1 with the CRJs. Whether that means ORD or DFW ends up with more is hard to say. No indications of them going anywhere else. Many posts have ruled out Caribbean flying, so not likely to see any based in MIA, but maybe more through flying there.

Last I heard, it’s gonna be about a 50/50 split between ORD & DFW.
