Lol. This post was asking for jack **** opinions. I do know exactly what the SkyWest annual report says about ExpressJet: Xjet is going away, sooner or later. SGU had no interest in keeping Xjet around except to bleed its flying to SKW.

With the CRJ flying winding down, that is why I ask where the 145 flying will go when SGU bleeds Xjet again.... I could ask a different question, which United Express base will close first?

I know. Wasn't meant to comment on the posts. Just one of those things that seems funny after a few beers so you post it.

This entire post was funny after a few beers, but in a sadistic way. I wish SGU would have done right for Xjet.

What are the odds of ExpressJet closing like PenAir? With a hastly written memo and locks on the doors.

You mean stranding thousands of UAL pax and costing Inc a huge financial penalty due to not fulfilling the contract? Doubtful.

No, not really. They stranded 250 passengers, not thousands of them. Also, they did not go out of business and they do not have a contract with a major airline. UAL would sue Inc and would most likely win costing St George millions.
There is a reason they have the CRJ doing the remainder of the contract instead of just shutting the doors.

But once the contract is up and if UA doesnt renew? Isnt AA flying all thats left? If so then hopefully AA renews every time or its farewell to yet another regional.
