The most bitter or negative people are ultimately just voicing their opinions with their feet. 52 off the list from 11/1 to 12/1.

Get it in you head...INC WILL NEVER GROW XJT. The purpose when Inc bought ASA and XJT was to gain market share. They might of gave the two groups a chance to get together 7 years but when that never happened the desision was made to slowly dismantle the two airlines and replace their flying with SkyWest. How many combined ASA/XJT pilots were there in 2011 vs now? It’s insanity that people think the “big” announcement is coming.

If INC brings the 145 on their certificate and starts consuming UAX bases one by one, then everyone will know that XJT is going the way of ASA. I think that is too obvious of a demise but the only demise that makes sense for INC shareholders. (Other than selling XJT).

I agree that Skypest will NEVER grow XJT. I disagree that they will not sell Expressjet.

Who do you work for? Sorry but United controls the 145's and will decide who gets to fly them. Skywest will not fly the 145's. They may replace them with 200's however.

Lost 324 from 6/1 to 12/1. So 162 went over in the CPP? That means United hired 648 in 6 months, if we makeup 25%?

United isn’t going to park the 145’s. If Xjet is going the way of ASA, as was proposed, and INC is making that decision, those 145’s will transition to SKW. Apparently, you weren’t awake to see what INC did to ASA by transferring bases and aircraft to SKW.

To be honest, sometimes I wonder who you work for.

And just what makes you the one to know exactly what is going to happen to Expressjet? Do you work for United or Expressjet? I think those decisions are well above your level.

I know the pattern of INC. I watched as INC transferred the flying and bases from ASA. I read INC’s (and United’s) quarterly and annual reports closely.

I also never said what United and INC are going to do. I said what would be an indication of bad news for XJT and that would be SKW adding a 145 to their certificate. It would indicate a continuation of the pattern that started with ASA.

Personally, I still believe that XJT will be awarded Ejets and be sold to an investor group led by United - in a similar model as CommutAir.
