Is this the same management that said SureJet and one super regional. Management says a lot of things.

I'm seeing that from the company communication. That's their own exact wording, not mine. And Skywest doesn't get the next batch, they get priority bidding for NEW additional aircrafts, "should those opportunities arise."

If scope isnt relaxed, there could be no new additional airframes added.

My opinion is anyone except Expressjet, Republic, and Skywest operating any airframe that seats over 50 people for United will either lose their flying or do CRJ550 conversions. Like what wmupilot said Skywest gets priority on new flying not the next 25 aircraft transfers. If ExpressJet can staff this flying I would guess they'll be flying 50-60 175s by the end of 2021ish. United has plans for ExpressJet or they wouldn't have made the buyout happen. Once the 25 175s are staffed and CommutAir gets all their aircraft flying I'd say the shuffle of 175s will start.

I would agree XJT will be atleast 50 E175’s that is a min for fleet utilization/cost. The expenses will be the XJT 200’s will probably go away as ComutteAir gets 30 more E145’s as they say they want. (About 2 years when the leases are up). So realy fleet net Neutral in a 2 year overlook.. but time will tell. If UA realy wanted XJT to thrive they would have gave them the 550’s. I think that was the onky reason to keep the CRJ on the certificate.. but looks like GoJet made UA a offer they couldn’t refuse...

There was no way we could staff the 550's and all the new stuff at this time. Makes since for now to have blowjet fly them.

Well since we’re under new management, no. It’s not the same brain trust that came up with SureJet.

The latest base trades just came out. A 12/18 hire was able to get IAH. Sure, maybe it was just luck. Either way, it's good to see someone get IAH before finishing training.

This gives me hope of being able to get CLE out of training.
