Nonsense. Nothing like people talking out of their face hole without any sort of data to back them up. A quick search on TranStats at BTS shows the following:
# of Performed Departures by a U.S. Regional Carrier
2003 2,243,995
2004 1,966,379
2005 1,925,647
2006 1,857,359
2007 1,931,438
2008 1,926,018
2009 1,579,490
2010 1,408,922
2011 1,362,965
2012 1,256,116
2013 1,167,636
2014 1,176,662
2015 1,154,499
2016 1,169,662
2017 1,138,863
We are flying a fraction of flights we were in the 2000's. Airlines have adapted, less flights = less pilots required. If regionals were doing 2.2 million departures a year like in 03, there would be hundreds of cancellations everyday due to lack of pilots.

Number of departures is a silly measurement, when the industry has completely changed from those years.

Block hours YoY is a better measurement of regional growth or contraction.

Kinda hard to have great performance when your previous parent company wouldn’t invest in the operation and was actively seeking to shut it down.

I do believe you are a Republic pilot correct? UA continued to award contracts/flying to Republic when they had poor performance metrics.
Something about glass houses and stones....
