IMO.......The 28 XRs at XE will continue to transfer to C5 IF
they can hire pilots hence the very large incentive.

The LRs will be parked and the pilots will transfer to additional 175s over the next 2 to 3 years.

The hiring at XE is only to maintain not for growth.

I asked earlier in this thread if that was happening, and was told no. So once more, are 145’s going away for every 175 that comes on?

How many pilots are based at KEWR at the moment?

The shrinking of the lines; is this normal due to fall/winter approaching ?

Flying normally reduces end of summer to Thanksgiving/Christmas. Staffing target for Newark is something like 85-ish FO and 115-ish captains. For October the FO bid pack shows 58 hard lines and 74 active FOs.

So if I understand this correctly, 16 active FOs do not hold a hard line ?

WOW

That’s a difference of about 8 months and those were the peak times that they were hiring too.
If I’m planning to come on aboard in October and finish training in ~Jan 2020 I will be in reserve for quite some time.

I still have a chance to bail as I have not fully committed yet. Should I be concerned?

Recruiter JUST told me 3-6 weeks to hold a line at kewr.
😔😔
Looks like not everyone is on the same page
