Sorry, haven’t been here in a couple days. I actually haven’t done a huge amount of red flag but I live local. I’ve been able to frequently do high credit day trips (7-9 hours credit in a day). Then factor in several rolled days off, etc. Looking at my crew pay I think I’ve been averaging about 105 hours a month, maybe slightly more, factoring in 150%. If keep it up it should be in the 75-80 range for the year. That includes everything, so also perdiem, EQO, vacation credit, and a referral bonus.
I’m definitely not a cheerleader for the company but you can make ok money if you work the system. I think you can make even more at Republic or Endeavor though.

Disclaimer: I don't have any stats to support that, just an impression based on type seniority and number of aircraft by type. Flight time and pay are generally always higher for a line holder, if that is what you want.

Not PBS. Line bidding through a sorting system called adopt. Line improvement windows each month that levels the playing field in relation to seniority. If you are a junior line holder, you can "improve" your line to be something better than what you were awarded in the monthly bid results. Reserve is reserve. Not much control over your schedule on reserve however you do have an "aggressive" pickup window prior to your block of reserve days if you don't already have a trip assigned by scheduling.

My family is anchored in Dallas for a few more years till my kid finishes school. IAH would be nice since it’s still Texas but I know it’s the senior base and supposedly there are a bunch of crew members who commute between the two cities. I’ve been thinking about EWR since it’s not a AA base and because UA & AA multiple flights it would be easier to catch a ride.
