With the 20 to 60 flights a day being canceled, you would think there would be more open time and more productive stuff to trade with. No red flag and no open time....but canceling. Very bizzare.

Again, I don’t see anywhere in your OP mentioning CPZ. Any intelligent person would assume you were talking about XJT, in, well, an XJT thread. 🙄

Au contraire, mon ami, an INTELLIGENT person would have judged the statement by the statement, and not arrogantly ASSumed anything, far less post some snarky put-down that didn’t apply.
I KNOW intelligent people, many intelligent people are friends of mine, and you sir, are NOT an intelligent person, merely an internet board warrior.

Would like to read more about it as well . . . can someone chime in on it and actually address the thread topic instead of engaging in childish BS posts?

Earlier this year after the United investment into XJT, I predictedthat ExpressJet will become the new “IT” airline for 2019 possibly 2020. That ship has sailed for for Republic, Endeavor, PSA and anyone else for the time being. Nothing wrong with that.

Call me a Koolaid aid drinker because I disagree with him philosophically about career management? That IS a problem. Are you even aware of the etymology of the phrase "koolaid drinker" in this context? It implies someone is so blinded by propaganda that they would willingly kill themself if someone in authority told them to do so.

I don't think it is unreasonable to call out someone dishing out insults for not even knowing who he is insulting far less for not being responsive to the issue.
The issue WAS NOT that I had a mindless and suicidal affinity for XJT, the issue was that now, AT THE PRESENT TIME, I see more opportunity for fast advancement at XJT than I do at Republic.
And while I would (and did) certainly concede that Quality of Life is currently better at Republic, the prospects for acquiring hours and upgrading appear AT THE PRESENT TIME to be better at XJT.
It's a PHILOSOPHICAL issue. If my desire was a career flying regional aircraft, Skywest and Republic would be my targets. But my desire is for a career at a major, meaning acquiring hours are a greater priority for me.
All the gentleman needed to do was address the philosophical differences (or not). The gratuitous insult was inappropriate even had I been employed by XJT. The fact that I am not just further made him look like a fool.
