Expressjet is a good company with a good contract. Unfortunately, Skywest didn’t invest in us and let us whittle away for years. United is turning this place around already but it’s still going to take a lot more work.
1) Stop blaming other people for your own problems. SkyWest no longer owns you, yet you’re still cancelling numerous flights per day.

2) C5 is still a complete *******show and the laughing stock of the regional industry even though they’ve been owned by United for a few years now.

I’m sure ExpressJet is no higher on the priority list than any of the other SEVEN regional partners UAL works with.
I’m sure Expressjet is higher on their priority list. They wouldnt have spend millions and millions of dollars to acquire control of expressjet, nor would they have asked us to fly the E175 were that not the case.

Now, that doesn’t mean there isn’t a whole lot of work to be done before we can really grow. This transition to an all Embraer fleet is going to cost XJT a lot of crews who are and will be stuck in training for several weeks. We’re also investing in maintenance again and building an IT department from scratch.

There’s a lot of work being done in the background that will payoff in the future in the form of performance improvements. That takes focus and commitment, and you can be sure United is keeping an eye on progress.

Why do you even care, dude? You’re arguing over some really dumb stuff. All regionals suck, and they all have something that doesn’t. They all have some good people, and some that aren’t so good. All your $hit talking just makes you look threatened by the possibility that another company might be turning itself around. It doesn’t really affect you.

Expressjet historically has had the best cba of any regional maybe matched by awac at one point, please explain what your airline's pilot group has ever done for the industry, besides go BK and get lucky. Pot meet kettle.

Expressjet is installing 175 sims at their training center in Houston.

Is United making similar investments in their other partner contract airlines, or just XJT?

How incredibly unreasonable can you be?

We obviously just changed ownership. We don’t even have a full property company yet. We’re still paying Skywest to run our IT department, for one.9

C5 is still struggling but they’ve come a very long way. They were also given a nearly impossible job to do.

Get a clue, dude.
