Base assignments

Looking for opinion as usual guys.
I've been thinking about base assignments and was wondering if there's any pros/cons for each base. For example, would it be worth it moving to Newark since it's the junior base and you can hold a line pretty fast?.
I'm basically driving with all my stuff in boxes to Houston for training, and will either stay in Houston or move to whatever base I can get.

I'm all about living suburban haha. So not sure how newark would work for me. I've only lived in Nevada, Colorado and Arizona, so east coast is kinda "scary" lol. I lived for a couple of months in Buffalo but it's pretty small.
I guess we'll see during training. Maybe reserve times go down substantially in Houston and I can get it out of training.

Draw a circle about 1.5 hours around EWR and you will find country, farms and mountains. I live about 1:15 north of EWR in NY. I live in the mountains were black bears compete with raccoons for rights to the trash. Parts of Eastern PA the greatest hazard you will face driving to EWR is rear ending an Amish buggy.

I think it’s pretty funny when people think the Northeast is all like NYC and the Jersey area around EWR.

It’s really quite a shame. You have the NYC area dominating lawmaking in NY and NJ and driving the states into the ground. Politicians who wouldn’t know a bull from a cow dictate policy to rural areas. Frankly, I have no idea how farmers are still in business in NY, NJ and MA.
