Oct shows 7 lines. From latest seniority list, junior CA is 11/00. Junior FO is 02/19. No reserve positions yet. All assigned pilots are flying a line.

The seat lock is 18 months. So if you come here now and want/need Newark, beware that you may be forced into the 175 and will not be able to hold Newark for 18 months plus time to train in the 145 (currently 5 months).

With the 175 you better be ready to accept IAH or ORD. Forget EWR as a guaranteed option.
We are short on FO’s in EWR. I find it very hard believe you wouldn’t get your first choice of EWR and the 145. It’s our most junior base. People from my class were allowed to pick 145 or 175.

Extremely, extremely unlikely. It’s like 3 lines... Good news is you can hold every other base in short order. ORD is a short commute away.

Thanks for the replies. So is it 3 lines or 7 lines? I do like the idea of it being lines only with no reserve. Out of whichever number of lines that are there how does the schedules and trip credit look for them?

85 to 98 hrs all 4 days so 15 days off. I got 16 off in august with the iliw and 17 off in sep cause they dropped a trip for training.
7 lines.

Are there any updates to this thread? I’m curious which base one could expect to get out of training for the 175. Also how long to hold a line? Thanks.

If you’re going to the 175, you’re gonna get ORD. 145 most likely EWR, I originally got EWR but so much movement going on I got a based trade for IAH

You sooooo right! I have three friends who were at XJT. All three left. They went to DL. One at LAX and two at ATL. They would agree with you. Next to DL, XJT sucks.
