Read that as, just be yourself. If you need a coach, you’re not yourself.

I’ve already done the prep with emerald coast. Had I not, I probably would have steered clear prior.
I did an interview prep with Emerald Coast.
They did not give me answers or stories. They emphasized that I needed to be authentic and truthful.
What they did was helped me think of stories for different HR questions that were mine and genuine and help me refine those answers. How to put my response in the correct format. Trip falls to avoid. How to condense my “tell me about yourself” story. Practice on how to interact on an interview.
Would I have made it without their help? Maybe. But I’m glad I spent the money on their help.

Does anyone have an idea of percentage of interviewees hired? I felt terrible not making the cut until I learned of some good people who also didn’t make it.

Sorry to hear you didn’t make it. Was your interview under the AVIATE? Some people interviewed 3 weeks ago and haven’t heard anything yet.

4 in my interview group got a yes exactly a week after. The rest of us are still waiting for a yes or no. Not sure if they have a pile for a yes right away or not.

What happens after you get the yes? Have to keep your nose clean. Jump through their hoops? And pass the rumored second Hogan.

Or, congrats you made it. Smooth sailing form here on out. Move up to UA when you reach the required hours?

I’d like to know the percentage of rejections with this program vs off the street interviews. Don’t feel bad about not making the cut. There are plenty of people at the legacies who were turned down by another. If United says no, Delta might say yes.

I can confirm at least 5 out of 9 candidates from last week got acceptance calls on the Wednesday afternoon following the interview. A couple were XJT, two were AWI.

What happens is you are put on a list waiting for UA to decide if they want to put you in a class. If anyone knows what that criteria is, it's not public knowledge. Don't forget that your work and training record will have to pass a "final review" right before they offer you a class date. That way, they can string you along and ensure you don't cause any trouble with pesky things like a sick call...
