New hires have been getting Holiday Inn. Shower hasn’t been a problem for me except for the first night. There have been constructions here at holiday inn but they are finishing up. Some people in my class have moved to Sheraton because of the constructions and they are saying the same thing about the shower there. Just stay at where ever they put you and if it becomes miserable request a hotel change.

Good call, I did not know that. I didn't get sick there thank goodness.

Does anyone know current training breaks? Is it still 2 weeks after INDOC? Any other training delays?

It is not really Expressjet's fault. Most hotels around IAH are complete dumps that badly need renovations. There are some new hotels but they are smaller and probably cannot offer low rates at high volumes.

Interested to know as well. I wasn't aware of delays.

It varies for each class. Some had a week some had only a few days. I wouldn’t call them delays, they are more of breaks. For the 145 its about 3 months from Day one to last training event. 175 may be different since it’s not an AQP training program.

My understanding is the training timeline is back to normal. No delays. Looks like 30 started yesterday, which would put expected January total new hires around 60+.

Holy cow.. Is that a typical class size? I guess I figured 15-20.

No. The last class of December had 30 folks. Yesterday’s only had 19.
