Must be getting thin on applicants. I was just offered a class date... I interviewed almost 2 years ago and turned down the offer, then and now.

To a CEO, business is business. Look at Tilton, Lorenzo, and the plethora of others that have tanked an airline just to make a few extra. That's just aviation. What about GM's Smith and the many others. Its just an endeavor for a company's management to make more money one way or another, and at any costs. I've yet to meet one that truly cares about their employees and the employees livelihood.

Anyone know the status of the MCI, ORD, CLE bases as far as if any new hires are going to these places? Or what the chances of a new hire going to one of these three.

From what I have been told, you can get MCI if you want it. ORD and CLE are in the middle, maybe slightly more senior.

Order of seniority (1 being most senior)...this is just my semi-educated guess.

1.DEN
2.IAH
3.ORD
4.CLE
5.EWR
6.MCI
7.IAD

Should be able to get whatever you want within a few months of being hired...Except for DEN maybe.

The junior guy in Denver is a 2007 hire. I'd say you can take the "maybe" out of your statement.

Thanks for all the info. If a new hire was able to get MCI how long would someone be on reserve?
