Regardless of how this TA looks. We need to analyze Compass's TA to see how their vote goes. There might be some leverage based off that to send ours back to the drawing board, for some minor tweaks. Particularly per-diem. A super regional should deserve an industry leading contract.

However, PSA didn't accept a "HUGE CONCESSIONARY" contract, we modified 2 items, Longevity length and health on a decent regional contract. Our current deal also got extended to 10 years. I can't say I'm happy about what we have now but it isn't a "dagger in the heart" to regional contracts. A 12 year longevity cap is in line with major carriers, and my health insurance went DOWN this year. That's right....DOWN.
Anyone who was already above the new longevity cap stays above it. Anyone coming in to this industry should not plan on staying at a regional for 12+ years in the current environment and therefore will never see the cap anyway.
Again, this is not the ideal situation for us but our contract otherwise is decent.
I am a bottom line holder at PSA(there were only 6 lines awarded below my seniority) and I have 18 days off with xmas and new years off for december and 16 days off with thanksgiving off for november. All of this is due to our "HUGE CONCESSIONARY" contract.
I know I'm gonna get hit hard for this post so have at it.
I wish XJT all the best for their new deal, you all deserve it.

I'll agree the Pinnacle contract is a raw deal. I work under it. Those were a different set of circumstances then PSA and now yourself. You did what you felt you had to do and now you must live with it just like PSA. I'm pretty sure you are not in bankruptcy with certain liquidation looming. As a matter of fact, I believe your company is still making money, just not enough for your managers. Your hate is misdirected, but never-the-less warranted. You now have a chance at removing the "dagger that we Pinnacle and PSA pilots put through your career." Will you?
On a side note, there was zero support for Pinnacle pilots during our process. Not one group of other pilots were willing to help us out. All you did was threaten and accuse. I guarantee you all of us would have voted that down had we been accepted to your airline with longevity as far as bidding power goes, but alas, we were expected to fall on our swords so you could make a few extra bucks an hour. Reminds me of the guy who drank the King's wine to make sure it wasn't poisoned.

I think you need to see a shrink for your anger issues my friend.
Interesting, when did SkyWest cap our payscales at 12 years and cut our top CAs pay by 22%? I was unaware we took concessions, damn. More than likely you just don't know who "OO" is.

While I don't like what Pinnacle did, they were under bankruptcy and in a far worse position than PSA.
PSA had no reason to vote on anything, let alone a huge concessionary contract. There is no excuse for what PSA did and it will ultimately hurt the entire industry...not just them.
Case and point: Now Xjet/ASA is being dragged down. As always I hope they make a stand the way Eagle did. I'm not holding out hope. Like I mentioned before, pilots are easily scared.

And please correct me if I'm wrong but didn't 9E also received interviews for their CAs at Delta with a guaranteed number of seats for signing the new TA.....? I could be wrong but I thought I heard something like this.

No my friend,
Exhibit A was Pinnacle who drove a huge dagger into the heart of our industry.
Exhibit B is PSA who just followed suit and pushed it in deeper.
Now that they've set the precedence regional pilots everywhere are under attack to join in on what Pinnacle and PSA started. Because of them the best we can now hope for is status quo……..
