I guarantee you all of us would have voted that down had we been accepted to your airline with longevity as far as bidding power goes, but alas, we were expected to fall on our swords so you could make a few extra bucks an hour. Reminds me of the guy who drank the King's wine to make sure it wasn't poisoned.

Can I ask you one thing? Would your company, you and your pilot group have done the same for any other pilot group if they were going through your situation? I am sure you know this but this industry works strictly on seniority and you know that is not transferrable when starting over.

So rather than say no one has helped us out, you guys did what was best for you and just leave it at that. Don't try to blame others for what you guys have now.

I can honestly say that I probably doubt it, but then again I don't know how many Pinnacle pilots are stomping around demanding people vote no on their own contracts. Seniority is everything and maybe guys weren't willing to give up 5-20 years to start over. The insults and threats when we were voting were pretty childish, I'm sure that thread is still somewhere. I don't blame anyone but ALPA for the contract we were given to vote on. Even they said it was do or die. I'm just tired of everything being blamed on Pinnacle. Tell your MEC what is acceptable and leave it in their hands. Its really easy to place blame. I was responding to Match saying we drove a dagger through the heart of regional pilots. I honestly hope you guys get a good contract to vote on. How you vote is up to you and it is not my place to tell you how to vote. Unfortunately, the Pinnacle pilots were put in a bad spot and that's how we voted it. Nothing left to say. I'm a grown man, I would never ask another man to fall on his own sword for me.

Hey, don't forget about ACARS reassignment and checking in (just rumor, I don't know) - because we need to be babysat by these micromanagers. The little things, on top of but unrelated to compensation, are what will push me over the edge with a NO.

Can I ask a fundamental question ?
Why do pilots blindly assume longevity is a valid basis for pay?
After IOE we are all doing the same job.
The 18 yr scale was brought in by Lorenzo and no one ever thinks to challenge it. If it did not exist then the hold companies have on pilots would be gone
If I could go to another carrier and not have to wait 18 yrs to top out I am more likely to do it.
Pilots do not think outside the box and I don't mean the one mfd by CAE or Flight Safety

"I paid my dues now it's your turn " is exactly what management wants

Read it, took notes and I am voting no. Way too many concessions in this thing.
