However, PSA didn't accept a "HUGE CONCESSIONARY" contract, we modified 2 items, Longevity length and health on a decent regional contract. Our current deal also got extended to 10 years. A 12 year longevity cap is in line with major carriers, and my health insurance went DOWN this year. That's right....DOWN.

Anyone who was already above the new longevity cap stays above it. Anyone coming in to this industry should not plan on staying at a regional for 12+ years in the current environment and therefore will never see the cap anyway.

Again, this is not the ideal situation for us but our contract otherwise is decent.

I am a bottom line holder at PSA(there were only 6 lines awarded below my seniority) and I have 18 days off with xmas and new years off for december and 16 days off with thanksgiving off for november. All of this is due to our "HUGE CONCESSIONARY" contract.

I know I'm gonna get hit hard for this post so have at it.
