I would love to see how he is going to go from 10 year upgrades down to 3 myself.

Default Jumpseating Intl

What is ExpressJet's policy on offline jumpseating for flights into Mexico? Is it possible to sit in the cockpit with a full flight or can one only get a seat if there are open spots in the cabin? Thanks in advance!

The "United" policy is no offline jumpseating intl on XJT. No one can say definitely one way or another. I can't say what your experience will be. If you can Zed or something, you may have better luck.

Does that include using CASS or JS privileges to sit in the cabin?

Both. I've been told "United" prohibits any jumpseating intl for us. That doesn't mean it doesn't happen. But your experience is gonna depend on who the crew and gate agent is. I wish I could give you something more concrete but that's the dilemma we keep facing.

XJT policy reads that OAL pilots cannot occupy the cockpit jumpseat on international flights. It does not address the cabin. Im not sure what the gate agents will allow.

It's not allowed... you would have to be input into APIS by OCC and they're not going to do it.

Did you miss the "no one really knows" comment? As I said, six months is a long time in the Regional industry. Any opinion beyond that time frame is conjecture.

Ah, but prior to that you said you could make a convincing argument that upgrades would drop down to three years. And yet, you really can't is what you're saying now.

It's cool - now we know. Be safe.
