Not that this is new news, but I was talking to someone who has a "friend" under a NDA in ATL HQ and they solidified the fact that this place is done in 2017. Fleet size will start dropping dramatically in 2017 as it is currently scheduled to. Towards the end they're going to offer us the Skywest contract. If we don't take it then donezo. I've read all the comments concerning ExpressJet...does anyone think the company will be viable past 1/1/19? I heard yesterday the CPA with United was extended indefinitely as long as ExpressJet continues to operate. The projections seem to indicate that the ERJ side will continue to shrink until 101 airframes are reached, but with all of the ERJs on the United side, even that seems like a lot of 50 seaters...

Honest question. Why wait it out? Are there lots of benefits on spiraling to oblivion versus leaving now in droves? Honest

I don't work there, I was asking as a prospective employee...things don't seem to be getting better, though, no doubt. Apparently, L-ASA union reps put out to start looking for work based off what someone else said on another thread. Still, the airline seems like it has a lot of great people, great performance, and excellent training.
