Why y’all so desperate to work on your days off. Y’all must have some good schedules bcz when I’m done with my BLG line last thing I want to do is see an airplane, fly an airplane or be in one. It’s hunting season, holiday season and football/basketball season.

Not everyone is working on their days off. Many people proffer/drop, and then pick up AVA. Nothing wrong with getting 150% if you can.

FYI - can’t AVA over the footprint of a drop. Trade trip for one over days you don’t want AVA (if possible), then proffer/drop that one. That way, no ghost footprint on the days you want AVA

There are exactly NO lawful alternatives to filing a grievance to make Mgt honor the CBA.
Are we supposed to stage a wildcat strike?
And love the, hey, totally cool with the company not complying with an agreement and labeling our Union a bunch of sell outs for actually having the temerity to expect the company to comply with our CBA/negotiated settlements by taking the only action open to us under current RLA

Think this is #1 of all the asinine postings I’ve read.

Scheduling can avoid giving out AVA....
All Schedulers have to do is wait until they are inside the "assignment window" to post that XTRA pairing. AVA is not available and they can assign away at straight time. Don't know of any way to avoid this one.
