Default How hard is it to get CGN

OP could have asked his question about CGN without delving into his and his fiance’s reasons. While I admire the candor, on this of all days it does seem a bit tone deaf.

Moral of story: never use 20 words when 10 will do...

But everyone in this thread has...its not that serious...everyone has their own opinions and thats what we fought for. Bashing solves nothing. Have a Happy Memorial Day..even if you dont agree with me.

And Albie and others could have simply ignored the commentary or not be triggered by it. 2 sided coin.

Have to admit it though fellas, if it came down to living in Cologne versus living in Louisville or Memphis...well, smack my ahss and call me a kraut cause I’d choose cologne all day long

Happy Memorial Day and thanks to all who keep America going and growing.

Once again, if the idiot is serious about a job, he got the best advice at the cheapest price he will ever receive. I know they taught you different in gender equities 204, but you do not do favors by pampering the rambunctious millennial.

My opinion is that hopefully, the major reason you signed up for the military, was so that the OP could do just what he did.

Not minimizing your or anyone else’s role at all, because just like a Police Officer, any day could be your day to be attacked and killed. However, when, since 1960 has the reasoning for the use of American military power not been heavily weighted towards support of the American Military Complex, or large Corporations who support our Political mass? I appreciate more than you could possibly know that our Military is poised to defend my right to live in a sovereign nation.

It galls me to watch today’s military men and women try to take credit for their sacrifices which they freely signed up to take. Thumping your chest and claiming you defended me minimized all the action that was taken on our behalf by the greatest generation. I am in Brussels right now. This is a place that seems to get the sacrifices the Americans made on their part and ultimately my part as an American.

BTW, today, I made all of those same phone calls that Albie did. I guess some of us minions who came up through the trenches in life instead of OCS or the academy, understand that this is life and how fortunate I am to be where I am being compensated as I am.

Wonder how many hot bed crash pads with 8-10 other pilots, some farting, snoring, and smelling of alcohol Albie did? Again not butt hurt and would do it again. Just part of paying my dues. All of us pay our dues in one way or another.

In the words I understand best, Suck it up Cupcake
Unbelievable.

You just invalidated my entire military career???

I can't believe you just invalidated dozens of Military Operations you'll never hear or know about, but you would think they were to "support the American Military Complex, or large Corporations."

On a day where as a grown man I just lost my composure over my brother's demise because I saw a tribute to fallen Veterans with the song Some Gave All, trying to keep it together but the video got the best of me, to reading your most ungrateful ridiculous First Amendment protected post. Absolutely unbelievable. Oh wait, I forgot, he signed up for it.

How could any American in one thread pit law enforcement versus military, civilian pilots versus military pilots and then suggest that any Service Member who has served after 1960s hasn't protected Americans, the Country or their Freedom??? That blows my imagination.

Heck, I don't think Putin and his Internet Research Agency unit could sow as much discord among Americans as you could with that post. Good Lord.

I apologize if my brother and I "thumped our chests while we claimed to you defend you, minimizing the actions of the greatest generation."

Shaking my head in disbelief...

God bless your soul.

2. I suggest you and your fiance hightail it back to Germany...as fast as you can get there. Our nation obviously offends you. I spent most of my adult life training to fight between the Fulda Gap and the Eifel, and was prepared to die to protect not only Americans, but our former adversaries the Germans as well. When you get home, do me a favor and drive over to Belgium, the Netherlands, France, and a host of other places your grandparents raped and pillaged, and visit some of the American cemeteries that dot the continent with many of our finest. I had the honor of serving stationed in your country, and led some fly-bys over some of those same sacred memorials while I was there. When that trip is over you can go on back home and **** yourself. I can tell you that a good percentage of FedEx pilots were military pilots, and most of the rest that weren't are still very patriotic and proud of our country. I don't want you here. If I find out your name I'll do all I can to let everyone else know it. They won't like you either.

Happy Memorial Day.
ouch, but thank you nonetheless.

I never said anything bad though about the military, no clue where that came from. I think this thread has run its course.

If you were looking to get hired by Emirates would you insult the UAE? Free tip, don’t burn a bridge before you get to it. That is the lesson to be learned.
