You said this
And also said that you would be happy to spend a weekend in Wuhan if FedEx flew there. So why did you opt out of China flying?
FedEx freight doesn't move, we don't make money. That a little different from the pax carriers. Guys need to quit *****ing. You signed up to fly for a cargo airline. Moving freight is what we do. If it entails risk, so be it. Half you whiners flew for the military doing higher risk jobs. Now you are highly compensated to do a job and you are whining. Don't want to fly to China, stay home and do sick leave, vaca or makeup. If we have freight to haul out of China, we are fortunate. And this virus stuff will happen again and again.

Add numerous Europe/Asian destinations to this also. If you could opt out of all these places why wouldn’t everyone do so and sit at home and get paid? How would the company even operate at that point internationally? If they cant operate what is the repercussions to the crew force. Be careful what you ask for with a virus thats out everywhere already.

I am not diminishing people’s legitimate concerns and the key to not getting this bug is good hygiene and minimizing/avoiding exposure.
Numbers are changing constantly but here’s just some numbers to consider. Wuhan, the epicenter, has a population of ~11 million and had 80,703 cases of which 20,272 are active. So 0.7% of their population got it and 0.18% currently have it. Sadly 3098 have passed away from it. This is 0.03% of their population. It is 3.8% of their confirmed/reported cases. Seems like a low probability of getting it and not surviving. It seems like a higher mortality rate than some other infections if you are unfortunately exposed but those hit hardest are the elderly.
These numbers are from the internet so take it for what it’s worth...And this is not meant to be an argument for or against flying these trips. Choose your own adventure.

We have the option to opt of out China flying. But if we are having Rdays dropped that don't even conflict with a china trip, then the company is punishing anyone opting not to fly to china. If I'm going to lose 4 days of pay, I'd like to know what trip I would have been assigned and then removed from. The company needs to be transparent on what they are doing. If the company is just looking for people who are on reserve but opt of of China flying and then dropping Rdays that don't involve a china trip, then the company is in violation of the contract and OIM.

OIM's pretty clear
The applicable block of R-days, standby(s),
or standby trip(s) shall be dropped.
If the pilot provides less than 72 hours notification, the drop may be processed at the Company’s discretion.
Q&A not all that helpful, but A9 clearly say "The applicable R-day block will be dropped"....then gets wishy washy talking about what Might happen.
One darn thing I'm certain on...is what Might happen ain't gonna happen in any seat that's not short on pilots
