By refusing to answer emails. By refusing to allow the members to ask unfiltered questions at PUB meetings. By refusing to take a poll to see if the membership wants the PSPP prior to negotiations. By refusing to have a discussion with those that disagree with them.
I am all for a recall, and not just LEC 22.

Literally, go read my body of work. Or any of the others who have pointed out the issues.
$350 an hour anyone? Really that's the bar? 50% of 350k, that's the retirement improvement bar?
Do you have the new secondary line generator from contract '15? Transmit only mode during PUB calls, Etc.
The list is long and distinguished.

I think our union should be a lot more accessible, willing to listen and look to find answers to our issues. That is part of why we pay dues.
And that is sorely lacking under the current MEC leadership. And that is not debatable. Worse than that, they seem to be okay with this path during section 6 negotiations. Does this type thinking work out for the best, let history be your guide.

The fact is you ran for a block rep, and good on you for stepping up, but you lost. If you had the support of the pilot group they would have elected you. Trying to tear down the MEC from the outside will do only one thing, destroy any semplence of unity within our pilot group. Unity will get us a contract we deserve, not pointing out everything you don't like about our union and what you would do different. How about working to bring us together not apart.
What does running for block rep have to do with the MEC not answering emails? What does it have to do with only allowing written questions during PUB meetings that they filter and choose from? What does it have to do with the MEC putting out misinformation?
As far as BrianH not winning the election goes, are you aware that there was an active campaign by the MEC to support his opponent? This was the first time that the MEC allowed a campaign letter from current and former block reps supporting a candidate rather than just allowing the candidates to put out their own letters. It seems like the MEC was trying to get "their guy" in and it worked. It's easy to get your agenda though when you surround yourself with "yes men."
If you think what the MEC is doing is forming unity, I'll disagree. The contract we deserve will be supported by a 90%+ yes vote. We will see if that is what happens. If the contract fails, the MEC failed and wasted our dues money by pursuing an unpopular agenda and a failure to listen to the group they represent.

And you think this path and the path Tony is taking will lead to the company to negotiate with us such ans come up with contract that 90% vote Yes? This pilot group can't agree on anything, you think 90% would agree on a contact!?
Some of you seriously live in an echo chamber and you think just because the people you fly with don't call you out means they support your cause. The 12 angry men don't have as much support as they think.

Yes I'm very aware of the circumstances around Brian's election.

Recalls happen when the people who vote don't think they are being listened to. The MEC works for us, not the other way around. If there is enough support for a recall, then the reps should be recalled.
Calling people who voice a different opinion than you the 12 angry men and expecting it to be a negative connotation shows that you really have no idea what that phrase means or where it came from.
