Default Purple Pay Potential

All jokes aside, I would like to hear what max pay rates we could see on the next contract AND how did you come up with that number?

Probably not something you do in public while in negotiations .

You and Stan446 need to dial it back today. Do not discuss issues the union doesn’t want it’s members discussing on a public forum. The company attorneys and management do monitor this site along with posts from Facebook and other social media sites and will use it against the pilot group in negotiations and for disciplinary actions against individual pilots.

Right now the pay rates are the least of my worries. We need to see what the MEC is able to achieve .. and see if people like NoWork and Kronan are willing to give up more QOL in order to "fix" things that shouldn't be broken.

Or, bring your min guarantee up to 250hrs and your set like some of your top seniority folks (last year/this year?) doing 275 to maybe 330 credit hrs a month was it? Granted, Laser beams are a lot cheaper now and cooler but sharks have skyrocketed.

I'll refrain from giving the rates again, but unless the membership gets involved, how the heck do you expect the MEC to do anything? You are ALPA.

Also, this was the best peak to ever show unity and the MEC is letting pass on by. I guess your MEC, and NC are happy with the progress at the table. Looking forward to an AWESOME 1 MAY 2022 FOR CONTRACT '21.

You know, I think you may be onto something here. Instead of doing a monthly credit/guarantee, they can set a yearly credit amount. This would be like us getting paid a salary no matter what happens month-to-month.

Say if they set the rate at 1100 hours of credit per year.

This is the worst idea I've heard in quite a while. Are you serious? The company controls the manning, pairings, target BLG, and revisions. Do you think the optimizer would allow a pilot to only work 1000 hours including vacation and get paid for 1100? You obviously haven't been in the industry that long.
