Check the flyers posted in the coffee break-rooms in AOTC.
Yes.
Historically you needed RST to get through the day 1 stuff, then a company like ECIC, Spitfire, Cage, etc to get through day 2.
I guess now that day 1 is done at home, you just need to prep for a CUT-E type test and then do ECIC, Spitfire, Cage, etc for day 2.

Because Crashpads suck when you are only making $4,000 a month and may even have a family to feed. Agreed it shouldn’t be the top (or even in the top 5) items, but seeing as how every other airline does better in this regard, even the regionals, why not at least try.

When the pool wait is 3-6 months there’s no incentive for the company to increase training pay or provide lodging during ITU. Once they start hurting for applicants expect that to change. DAL did that last year (new hire hotels) as the pax carriers are constantly losing people.

There is no “best,” they teach the exact same fundamentals (Spitfire was started by a former Emerald Coast counselor, it’s the same thing just in a different package, with heavier emphasis on marketing). The real question is how much effort YOU are going to be putting in to your interview prep and practice.

I interviewed last summer and used both services. Both prep you adequately for the HR panel. For the SBI, Spitfire’s prep was significantly closer in structure and content to the real deal. After doing 2-3 of each version, I stopped doing ECIC SBI prep at the recommendation of some previous interviewers - that was great advice. After doing the SBI, I wish I had done only Spitfire training.
Last summer, two of my bros that had already interviewed mentioned that ECIC counselors had mentioned in 1-on-1 sessions that their (extremely) dated videos and academics were getting refreshed at some point. Maybe that has happened already, cant speak to it.
My HR topoff for Spitfire was done via zoom; I had 100% undivided attention of the instructor. My HR topoff with ECIC was a dude on speakerphone in his truck.
Be wary of any current/former ECIC consultant that blows off the competition. Spitfire exists because former employees know that ECIC rested on their laurels after becoming the BMOC and their services got dated. My experience, echoed unanimously by fellow interviewers last year, is that Sptifire lapped them…especially when it comes to SBI training.

Their SBI dry runs were far more like the real deal. I did both ECIC and Spitfire, but if I could talk to myself from a year ago I’d just recommend spitfire.
Customer service seemed better with them, as well. My HR top-off was via zoom and 100% focused. My ECIC top-off was on speakerphone while he was driving. ECIC sat back after becoming BMOC, and it shows.
