Default Delta contract

Delta gets a ta, looks pretty. Not a dime less than what they sign for, not a dime less

The quote from Fred used to be "Delta plus a nickel", so I want my nickel or I am a no vote.

Point of order, Delta has an AIP, not a TA.

Precisely.

From the AIP highlights:
"The agreement contains dozens of individual work
rule improvements, with upwards of 25% of the
value of the agreement dedicated to quality-of-life
related items, and no concessions."

No Concessions.

And this is why the recent fight against the United MEC and keeping TI out of ALPA National mattered. Pattern bargaining begins now, starting with a high bar. We (as an industry) came close to disaster with what UA's MEC tried to ratify.

Having said that, I hope FDX is filled with regret for the foot dragging and delay - market price is going up.

No vote unless we are properly compensated. Period.

Delta plus a nickel isn't sufficient enough for me.

- Their AIP doesn't keep up with inflation.
- They got a TON of QOL gains in their AIP.
- They don't do hotel lockdown like we do.
- They don't fly night hubturns like a large percentage of our pilots do.
- They didn't make insane profits in 2020/2021 like we did.
- They sat around in 2020 with pay while we made huge sacrifices.

Honestly the Feds should pay the “nickel” part of our contract. Negotiate the best we can then have the Fed just cut Fred a check equal to whatever they paid Delta to sit on their hands for 18mo+ and pay it out to us (and the ramp folks) in cash…it’s only fair. Happy for those guys at DL but FedEx got screwed in that deal.

Really? Would you had rather it be the other way around? Sitting at home in uncertainty, I don’t even wish that on my worst enemy if I have any. Try counting your blessings brother.

Most of my friends at legacies double-dipped the whole year by working a second job, grew their side-business, or went back to the mil for a while. They made out VERY well financially.
