Those guys on Jetflyers are so embarrassing. The guy saying "I've flown with hundreds of pilots that came from Delta, United, American over the years and not a single one regrets it". Ya, sure buddy. I've. flown with 2 this week so far that regret it. The dinosaurs that think FedEx is the greatest thing since sliced bread and the only show in town are so far out of touch with reality.
And to the point that if we're going to get Delta's rates, we need to take their whole contract? Our openers literally say "to establish industry leading hourly rates of pay". Stop negotiating on the company's behalf you dolts.

My brother in substitution, we already have PBS.

I was at one of those carriers, go ahead and make that 3 this week. I’d imagine there’s numerous of us on the line as well that won’t admit to it as well. I’d rather skip that conversation of listening to the cap tell me why I’m crazy to not think this place is rainbows and unicorns.

So the attitude of "screw the old guys" is ok with you? How's that going to help unity?
I might add that in 2015, new hire pay rates were increased, while retirement was not. So once again, new hires benefitted, at the expense of our retirement.
You got yours, but you want to screw the old guys out of the retirement that they earned? And then you say I have an attitude problem? Your attitude is exactly the problem, not mine.
Retirement needs to be fixed. Pay rates need to be fixed. What's wrong with fighting for both?

Corporate double speak for cost cutting.
DRIVE: Global Transformation Program
FedEx is advancing its global transformation through DRIVE, a comprehensive program to improve the company’s long-term profitability and achieve its financial targets. Through DRIVE, the company expects to achieve more than $4 billion in annualized structural cost reductions by fiscal 2025. FedEx plans to host a DRIVE update call during the first half of calendar 2023 to provide additional details on the company’s ongoing transformation.

What a coincidence! DRIVE initiative in the middle of contract negotiations. #NO CONCESSIONS! DELTA+
