It wasn't to keep up with a few LCA's at one regional, it implied most if not all regional pilots.
Last time I checked, $400 was less than $586+, so how do we need a 24% DOS raise plus another 40%-50% just to keep up with the regionals?

It will be a very long time before we hire again. If I were hired within the past two years, I’d re-examine that decision.

Dude, I have been saying for two years that we needed to start at Uniteds WB top rate in 2019 and adjust it for inflation as a starting point. Where have you been? We were well behind shortly after the 2015 contract was signed. Maybe you should focus on your own assumptions and stop assigning ideas to others that they didn't state.

huh? I’m not assigning anything to u just saying the standard assumption was that we were highest paid -we do have something like 89% on WB pay where delta used to have 14% and now 30% and I think United is still around 13%. But other areas really caught up.

Ok, let me try again. Maybe you and others thought that we were the highest paid and would continue to be, but I have been saying for years that we aren't the highest paid and we need to pull our head out of the sand. So whether or not you imagine I thought the same as you, I didn't. Just because we had FO's posting on APC that it was easy for a 2-3 year WB FO to make over $300k consistently without working extra, and those same FO's are now complaining that we have the worst work rules, contract, yada yada yada... in the industry doesn't make any of it true. Look at Threeighteen. They got hired in the second half of 2020. Said they were getting furloughed at their current carrier. Now, Delta and the other pax carriers are the best thing since sliced bread. Kind of hard to take them seriously when they go whichever way the wind blows.

The AA negotiations update posted on jetflyers shows just how far we are behind the industry and proves that our negotiating committee should give us a real update. If they can’t get an acceptable deal done then call for a strike vote NOW!
