I’ve asked about ARR to both the Union and the Company. I’m sorry it’s not as simple as you’re making it out to be.

For the record, I’ve recommended sending in a dart and getting answers for yourself.

Man, you have gone this many posts and never mentioned asking about ARR. Even your DART didn't mention ARR. You were the one trying to say it was simple. Now you are saying that you asked about ARR. Talk about back peddling to fit your narrative. The only thing that you have said that makes any sense is that anyone who is listening to you should contact the union. Hopefully anyone who thought you may be correct can see how you have changed your scenario and your responses to fit your purposes. Don't fall for the ineptitude.

Default Not to stir the pot...

I usually don't chime in on these discussions, but didn't we have an 800 Captain bid not too long ago? If it had only been a 550 Captain bid would we have been as doom and gloom as we are now? It seems to me this excess bid is nothing more than management once again showing they can't forecast crew manning with any reliability. You'd think they would go with shorter more manageable bids, like every other airline.

As one of the guys who could possibly get bumped it's sort of frustrating that they do it this way. Because they do this so far out, I took my training while some senior to me chose to bypass training. Training was a ton of work that I put in. It'll be pretty frustrating if I get bumped so that someone else who doesn't want to be on the bottom can stay on a list where they refuse to go to training. I might be ok... I guess I'll find out next month for sure and if I'm forced out hopefully I can hang on by refusing training in the next seat.

While I agree that management should have anticipated the slow down post COVID, this realignment bid is the result of a disastrous Section 24 from C2015. Had they not trained out of order or hired directly into every seat while holding senior people in junior positions, they wouldn't have this problem.

Their large bids, abrogation of seniority and stupid Section 24 caused this.
