The people retiring after the amendment date helped build the company and FedEx ALPA!
👏👏👏👏 Amen! It also sets the "right precedent" so as to dis-incentivize the company from their foot-dragging MO.

So, the mediator has an idea and makes a suggestion on how to move things forward. The NC says they are willing to explore that idea, so that makes it the NC's proposal? Come on man! It was the mediators idea, he proposed the idea. The company is mulling it over the same way that the NC is. Both sides are seeing if it will work.

We would be fools to accept any kind of pay raise that is tied to any metric controlled by the company.

no.mediator can’t make a suggestion at table - only in one on one talks (“you’d better do this…”). Only NC or LR can propose. Mediator always puts pressure on sides but when LR is slowly raising pay rates ( if they are) that’s not tosi, that’s Robertson.

in this case it IS the NC proposal. Else they could have rejected it.

I agree that tying guaranteed pay rates to any company metric is foolish. However, I would entertain guaranteed industry leading rates of pay along with profit sharing(a company controlled metric) which a lot on here seem to think is great because Delta has it.

This is just one man's opinion.

This management team makes big plans, but their execution is pretty lacking. They are perpetually missing forecasts and it seems like ****ing off their customers is the key to success. When you're delivery and logistics company and you don't deliver when you say you will you're gonna have a revenue problem not a cost problem. The market has proven there a customers who will pay for speed and reliability. I thought that was what the purple promise was all about. Innovate (or at least appear to) and Wall Street will fire money at you with a cannon. Cost cutting will only attract the casino patrons looking to pad their returns in the short term. For these reason's alone we should not be entertaining anything contract related tied to executing plans we don't influence, approve, or control.

They should change the motto from "The World on Time" to "You'll get you #%#$ when you get it"
