I'm sure most of our guys would prefer it over the shotgun lines that get built by the SIG or SLG too.

To clairify, DAL has multiple tools to change your schedule. The first is called PCS, which is the automated add/drop/swap system. Runs 4 times a day in seniority order and interacts only with trips in open time and/or the reserves required/available grid. You can start tinkering with next month's schedule on the 20th the month before. Totally automated, no scheduler interaction.

Then there is the pilot to pilot swap board. Allows pilots to add/drop/swap with the pool of trips in that specific pool. Becomes available as soon as the next month's schedules are posted. First come, first served and runs in real time. Again, totally automated, no scheduler interaction.

Starting 2nd day out, there is "trip coverage", which is the manual coverage process that is sorta-kinda automated, but really a manual process. It's where premium time and other short notice trips are awarded. Has to follow a pretty specific trip coverage ladder, and the trip disposition is available for all to see, so not much in the way of shenanagians escapes the watchers.

There's nothing inherently wrong with PBS, and nothing says you have to allow it to pre-post known absences or conflicts. It could work exactly like line bidding (dropping conflicts), you just have to negotiate it that way.

Does any airline with PBS maintain conflict bidding?

Why dont we keep line bidding but adopt the Delta system of automated trip trading, drop, pick up trade ect. Also need to close the PNP loop hole that the Wolf pack uses so effectively. No need for a scheduler to be invovled with trades. Also reduces the schedulers favorites from getting all the good deals.

But then how would screwsked be able to deny your request 17 hours later due to ‘earlier time stamp’?

Sorry the truth hurts you so bad. If you can point out anything I’ve been wrong about, then I will leave.

Here is a quote from February. We were down to pay and durtion at that point.

The fact of the matter is that we have seen ZERO TA’d language from negotiations but here you are screaming from the rooftops that - no matter what - this contract will be crap, we can’t trust our NC or MEC, and that we are definitely 100% for sure giving up massive QOL items.

YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS IN THE TA’D SECTIONS.

Were you the author of the email CN referred to that started with “I heard a rumor, and confirmed on Facebook.”?

For now, please just shut your idiot mouth and judge the TA on its merits once you ACTUALLY read the language. Your posts provide nothing of value other than to show everyone reading them that you are a hysterical lunatic.
Sounds like you were wrong about the TA'd language.

See ya!
