Yes it's time to improve our contract again. That's what happens every cycle and it usually takes time beyond the amendable date.
My guess is this, you'd be horrible to work with, likely a right seat Captain with a massive ego and if you're not already gone my hope is you will be soon.
As for the "it's better at the legacies" argument, Well I just received a message from a 6 year person here that bailed for a "Major" they are experiencing buyers remorse. So beware, sometimes it's better to tidy up your own current place rather than buy the new one.
Your comment about the culture here is odd, you seem to be one of the worst, most venomous posters on this site. I find it hard to believe you'd be happy at any airline, maybe you should take a look at yourself, a little introspection. Honestly with you gone the culture would make an instant and drastic improvement.

You seem very bitter. Almost as if you were fired/resigned. Personally I was former regional, legacy and then FDX. I voted no on TA1 and completely support the road we are trying to travel towards an industry leading contract. My experience at purple, is completely different to yours, amazing people to work with and good equipment to fly. My quality of life and compensation far exceeds anywhere else I've worked.

Nailed it with this guy. Total whining baby who hasnt spent a single day in our Military. So EASY to tell by the way he writes "I was a mil guy" bs...
Jack,
Don'be shy about your obvious background. Being a pure civilian pilot is nothing to be ashamed of. Some of the best pilots I have flown with are 100% civilian trained. The difference between them and you is they dont spend thier life on social media complaining about their job, career, company, other pilots, etc...Oh and they don't feel the need to lie about their background.
You have come up short in life and are wrong with about 100% of your dribble. Bye Bye Jacky #jackryanissuchaD

Cool thread revival.
Are things just that slow on the Senile Minority chat?... just running out of the same things to talk about such as CPAP, social security, pension and how many widebodies (planes, not just pilots) Fedex has?

But I agree about all those old topics of discussion. Let's generate some new topics: How about welcome to January 2025...this first month that you don't get your 11% contribution to the new pension, and with February fast approaching how about the 3rd LOST payraise, or how about entry into 4A2C and enjoying the lower Min BLG credits, with the unfortunate threat of furloughs, or maybe that we have zero negotiation dates this month because the past two months are removed due to an incompetent MEC.
Those should be enough to tear away the CPAP, Pensions and Social Securtiy discussions. YMMV

These are threats we should be talking about and the MEC should be addressing regularly. The chair's campaign video was shallow and tone deaf. Leadership should speak to issues that directly and immediately threaten pilots' jobs and income.
