Not gonna lie - I have disdain for o whole bunch of groups at this operation. The SM's, the independent contractors, the management, the NMB, the BOD, and on and on. It really is a masterclass in dysfunctional jackholeism.

Far worse than the MEC that typically work uncompensated on days off and actually have some accountability - they can be recalled by membership, the NC is really the problem here. Earn 100 credit hours plus working from home when no negotiations going on - zero. Think they are doing anything other than drinking beer and screwing off? And who are they accountable to? Oh yeah, that same feckless MEC. Membership can't remove the NC and way too many guys are smitten with their ineptness. Can't make this **** up.

id rather have my dues money pay these guys to stay ready versus the shmucks of NC 1.0 that lied directly to our faces.

Have you, say, emailed the NC and asked what they are doing? Or your representative?

Or do you think this process is somewhere in complexity between buying a dog by the side of the road and your first car?

The MEC and NC are only as strong as the pilot group. If you think they are inept, maybe it is a result of the ineptness of the pilot group.

Would the NC make more earning 40% more with a huge signing bonus? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm …. It’s almost like what you’re complaining about makes no sense.
