Yup. Max trolling and repeating talking points. Pretty weak.

No, this company is capable of doing anything. They exploited 4a2c for 12 months. They whipsawed the MD11 from Domestic, to going away to now its essential. The people that fly that jet saw min BLG for close to 2 years. Unless they're dropping their sked for AVA. (thats a joke from the other thread) AND AND AND The company is currently blatantly subverting the 2015 Contract Section 25.C.8. Read up. No flying means No flying and ALG. Not RLG with made up reserve lines. Now the MD is coming back so how will that work? We don't know cause the company won't say and ALPA isn't saying anything.

SO, all of this leads me back to the original statement. THE COMPANY WILL DO WHATEVER IT WANTS. Go get ur SCOPE talking points and Wet Lease and Student Lines and whatever cause they're all irrelevant anyways. We continue to lose money and more money as these negotiations drag out. If you had TA23 12% DC to your 401k in 2025 that would have been worth $30-50k in the market. But yeah. Student Lines. I took a 15% Pay Cut in 2025 compared to 2024. Because this company manipulated the contract to their advantage. Thats going to play out over and over. Thanks to todays NC the company can no longer exploit that one aspect. Will the company find a new way? You betcha!

"UPS officially announced the permanent grounding of our MDs today. I would be surprised if FedEx didn’t do the same in due course."

"Agreed. I cannot imagine FedEx keeping the MD-11 any longer."

These posts did not age well.

You're going to base everything off of Simpleton Flying? Wow.

At the end of the day, it's up to 1...MAYBE 2, entities: the FAA and Boeing. They decide if she's coming back. No one else.

Every single one of these is the opinion of FedEx, not the people that make the decision.

So, also no.

The company is absolutely planning to return the MD-11 to service by May 31st and has communicated that to employees, investors, and media. Unfortunately it’s not entirely up to our management when or if the planes return. Boeing and the FAA have to agree on a maintenance procedure for safely returning the planes to service. If a new part has to be designed, certified, and manufactured then FedEx may change their mind. Or if it’s communicated to management by either Boeing or the FAA that the maintenance action could take a year to get approved, then FedEx might change their mind. It would be wise for Fedex to plan for retiring the planes while also planning for their return to service.
