SM is a clown show

TC and his "rapidly shrinking group" aren't the only ones angry. The junior pilots, especially the COVID-era hires, are furious. They feel misled or outright duped about how "awesome" FedEx was supposed to be. If TA2 doesn't genuinely impress and address this group's concerns, we're staring down another failed TA.

Hope they will be impressed with our 2021 payrates for a few more years. That will show the company. They will be more than happy to keep saving $80M a month.
I hope the NC realizes this and is pushing hard for reasonable for everyone. If you are hoping to be impressed, better set your expectations low. Not getting better rates then the big three.

Anyone under 45 should consider leaving.
I would never have said that 10 years ago, but it is no longer the FedEx I once knew.

I Disagree. There's way more contract fatigue now that we're 4.5 years down the road. TA23 failed 57-43. Thats not an overwhelming rejection. I bet you could pass TA23 today with the fatigue that exists today. You put some money on the table and no one is going to be making a "GOT SCOPE?" charge. The reality is the time value of money has left us in the dust. TA23 pay rates in 2025 would have paid back on average $50,000 returns in the 2025 401k market. These things keep compounding. People crying about student lines and scope. The company moved AIr Freight from jets off the HUB into TRUCKS during peak. They can kick our a$$ aanyday they want. WAKE UP PILOTS! We are not the integral part of this operation that we have artificially and psychologically created in our minds. So, anyways, even if the TA2? is a big STEAMER it will PASS. And on the crew bus or in the CAN executive lounge or pouring a hot cup of ROAR you'll hear 90% Voted NO. Reality? It will pass at a MINIMUM 60-40

Somebody gets it. The Tony Parade was pretty fun while we all had the delusion of unity. My fatigue is not due to the Company, it’s due to our membership. The Independent Contractors gave the company everything they wanted and needed while schooling the rest of us on “leverage” and blaming the Union. Good job team. McDonald’s costs $50 for the family now. Time to move on.

15% of the crew force are IC like easyhore, they are the companies wet dream.
The company did a great job filtering for new hires that are greedy and out for themselves. They looked for a certain percentage (15%)of back stabbers they could rely on. The rest of us 85% are paying for the IC.
